About the brand
The freedom to go further with the knowledge that you are prepared for anything.
The Lifesystems brand is part of the British company Lifemarque, which has been producing outdoor and travel equipment for small and large adventures for children and adults since its founding in 1989.
The brand's story began back in 1983, when the founder of Lifesystems, Mark Cobham, was traveling in Tanzania and severely injured his leg. He was lucky at the time, as his companion in the wilderness was a trained doctor, Ania Koziell, who was able to provide him with immediate first aid, thanks in part to her homemade first aid kit. And although everything turned out well in the end, Mark, upon his return from his travels, kept thinking about how he would have managed in a similar situation on his own. The result was not long in coming, and in 1989, the first purely British first aid kit saw the light of day, developed by Mark in collaboration with Ania and experienced rescuers. Since then, the Lifesystems brand has focused on producing reliable and high-quality equipment, not just for mountaineering expeditions, that will withstand the toughest conditions.
Currently, a team of 50 experts is working on perfecting the products. Together with professional travelers and adventurers, the equipment is tested in the field and then distributed to specialized stores in 40 countries around the world. All products are designed and manufactured right in the UK, and thanks to their own enthusiasm for nature and years of proven experience, the end customer receives products that they can fully trust in emergency situations.
