Satch is a premium German brand that logically follows the successful concept of Ergobag backpacks, focusing on older students – pupils in middle and high school. The brand is part of the innovative company FOND OF GmbH, which is founded on three fundamental pillars: ergonomics, sustainability, and design. Satch's goal is to offer teenagers a backpack that is not only stylish and functional but also maximally gentle on their backs and the planet.
What has made the Satch brand famous and sets it apart from the competition is its sophisticated ergonomic system. The designers were inspired by the principles of modern trekking backpacks and transferred them to the school environment. The main idea is to shift the majority of the weight from the sensitive shoulder and back area to the much stronger and more stable pelvic area. This is achieved through a sturdy, anatomically shaped hip belt and internal aluminum rails. Most Satch backpacks are equipped with a growing back system, which allows the backpack to be perfectly adjusted to any body height from 140 to 180 cm.
The second key pillar of the brand is sustainability and social responsibility. All textiles used for the production of Satch backpacks are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. Approximately 25 half-liter bottles are used to produce a single Satch Pack backpack. The brand is a proud partner of the Bluesign® system, which guarantees that the entire production process is free of harmful chemicals and is as environmentally friendly as possible. At the same time, it is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), which actively oversees the adherence to fair and safe working conditions in the manufacturing factories.

Individuality is supported by the SWAPS system – interchangeable design elements on the front of the backpack, allowing students to customize its look at any time.
