User Product Reviews

Shopping in an e-shop is undoubtedly a convenient and fast way to get the product you need. Its only disadvantage is that you cannot physically try the product before buying it and get to know its features as you would in a brick-and-mortar store. For some goods, even a detailed description and a list of all manufacturer-declared parameters cannot fully replace personal experience. That's why we give all our customers the opportunity to share their insights gained from using a specific product in the form of a review, which can also help other potential buyers who are considering purchasing the product.

Reviews on our website

A customer review is a subjective evaluation of a given product or a description of a real personal experience with it. Some features, even with the best effort, cannot be described with complete accuracy, captured unambiguously, or photographed. In such cases, the real experiences of customers who are already actively using the product come in handy. They can evaluate what they like about the product, what is less practical, what they would change, and what customers should focus on when buying.

The law requires e-shops to clearly label reviews whose authors are verified customers who have purchased the product, and at the same time mandates informing customers about how the e-shop verifies reviews on its website.

As of April 1, 2024, we only allow reviews to be written by verified customers who have actually purchased the product from us or have created a user account. Before this date, even unregistered site visitors who had not purchased the item from us could write a review, if we evaluated their review as beneficial for our customers. Such reviews are visibly marked as being from an unverified customer.

Because currently only customers who actually own the product can share their insights, you can be sure that they have had the opportunity to genuinely assess the pros and cons of the item, thus providing you with an honest opinion on its quality.

Every published user review goes through our approval process. However, its purpose is by no means censorship or an attempt to hide negatives or shortcomings of the offered goods. Quite the opposite. The goal is to ensure that the review contains a relevant evaluation that can be useful to other customers, to filter out information that provides no insight into the product, and to prevent the publication of fake reviews that could mislead our customers. Any typos or grammatical errors are proofread. If the review does not contain profanity, pertains to the product, and is not contrary to the law, it is approved without any modifications.

What should a review contain?

When writing a review, it is important to base it on personal experience with the product. It should be an honest and objective summary of your experiences. It is important to state everything essential in context. If you are not satisfied with the goods or something has disappointed you, it is appropriate to include it in the review. On the other hand, it is good to be objective and not forget to mention the positives as well.

A review doesn't have to be particularly long. It's good to remember that a few relevant insights are more beneficial than a lengthy text that contains no new information or personal observations. A few lines will suffice, in which you evaluate, for example, the product features that are important to you, the perspective from which you were writing, or comment on the extent to which your expectations, for which you purchased the product, were met. Write concisely and to the point, focus on the clarity, comprehensibility, and content value of your review.

Do not write a review if you do not yet have the goods physically with you. It is not necessary to subject the product to lengthy testing; any factual observations and impressions from using the product are beneficial. Feel free to place the review in a time frame and, when writing, let others know how long you have actually been using the product you are reviewing.

Whether you criticize or praise, remember that every review helps other people choose a product that will meet their expectations.

How to write a relevant review?

  • Rate the product with stars, mention positives and negatives, ideally with a comment.
  • Write honestly, truthfully, and to the point.
  • Focus on the clarity, comprehensibility, and content value of the review.
  • Only review products you have real experience with.
  • Do not copy reviews from other websites or link to them.

What to avoid?

If a product doesn't meet our expectations, we tend to be negative. In this case, it is good to list all the shortcomings and subject the product to constructive criticism, all within the bounds of decency, of course. Instead of insults and vulgar comparisons, focus on describing the specific shortcomings that bother you. Only then will the review pass approval and be able to genuinely help other customers.

Avoid addressing issues that are not related to the product's quality. Complaints about the carrier, damage to the shipment during transport, or a missing part of the order will be resolved with you through our customer service, which you can also contact in case of a warranty claim or a question about the features and parameters of the delivered product.

What doesn't belong in reviews?

  • Avoid profanity, calls to violence, personal attacks, and racism.
  • Do not write fake reviews with the intent to confuse other customers or provide them with false information.
  • Do not include any personal data or third-party data; violation of privacy is unacceptable.
  • Issues not directly related to the product's quality.
  • Do not write questions about products in the review; the contact form is for this purpose.
