The history of the legendary Nalgene brand bottles began in 1949 in New York, when American chemist Emanuel Goldberg produced the first plastic test tube. His team of experts initially focused on developing and manufacturing plastic containers that served as laboratory equipment. However, during the 1960s, some of these became so popular with scientists that they decided to use them for personal purposes as well. Nalgene has been a subsidiary of Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2004.

Nalgene products intended for food contact made from Eastman Tritan copolyester have undergone thorough testing to confirm their safety. The bottles are made in the USA and can be hygienically washed in a dishwasher.

Great emphasis is also placed on durability. Strong impacts, as well as low or high temperatures, are no cause for concern. The bottles also generally do not affect the taste of the drink and do not absorb dyes, so you can truly enjoy your beverage, including pure water. A bottle that can withstand a lot replaces single-use plastic packaging, thereby contributing to the reduction of waste and emissions.
