The last weekend of June in Brno belonged to the children. The Riviera traffic playground hosted the twenty-first annual event, which not only entertains but also tries to teach children how to enjoy their holidays without injuries and accidents. The program was truly packed, so it is no wonder that even our Bungee panda could not miss it, and he generously took us along. :-)
Radio Petrov really put a lot of effort into the Watch out, holidays event. From ten o'clock on Saturday morning, eager children excited for the competitions began to stream into the Riviera area. They ran, sprayed with a fire hose, rode on a cart, or picked Kubík's apples and pears. The weather certainly did not go easy on us. The sun was shining brightly. Everyone was glad when they could cool down a bit with an ice cream.
At our Bagalio stand with the lucky number seven, children could hide from the scorching sun for a while and explore Vaude backpacks under the majestic plane trees. The cleverest ones who found all the reflective elements on the Minnie 5 and Pecki 10 backpacks received coloring books of our beloved pandas as a reward. We willingly drew our sign on their game card, and the children rushed off to the next station. Once they completed all ten tasks, they could choose a reward directly at the Radio Petrov stand.
Just like on Saturday, Bungee welcomed children at the Bagalio stand on Sunday, where they were again looking for reflective elements. And because the children were very clever, they proudly took home panda coloring books that they liked the most after their efforts. Throughout the weekend, we were also competing for five Vaude children's backpacks. We received dozens of survey forms with answers about where they would take our panda mascot on a trip or vacation. We drew five lucky winners who will pick up their beautiful backpacks at our store.
We had a great time with the children all weekend. We admired the little dancers, the magician, and the boys jumping on BMX bikes; Bungee was also thrilled and cannot wait for the next year's event, where we will hopefully all meet again at the Brno Riviera area.
