From climbing to ultramarathons
Since the 1970s, the The North Face logo has been associated not only with passionate outdoor athletes but also with expeditions to the most remote and inaccessible corners of the world. This tradition continues today, exactly in the spirit of the founders' mantra, "Never stop exploring".
In the 1980s, the company set out to explore the world of skiing and soon established itself as a supplier of clothing, equipment, and backpacks for ski mountaineering and extreme skiing. By the end of the decade, The North Face had become the US market leader in outdoor and ski apparel, sleeping bags, tents, and backpacks. You can see how far they have come in terms of innovation and sophisticated design in ski backpacks with models like Snomad or Skiddilyscatscoot. These are backpacks manufactured with the most advanced technologies and packed with features that make movement on snow not only freer and more fun, but also safer.
The nineties were a time of material innovation for the brand. The Tekware™ material was introduced, which, thanks to its ultimate functionality, expanded The North Face's horizons from climbers and outdoor enthusiasts to ultramarathons and trekking. Keeping pace with the most extreme sports is a trend that was typical for this brand at the beginning of the millennium and continues to this day.
Never-ending innovation
Now, more than 50 years after its founding, The North Face offers a wide range of functional clothing, backpacks, shoes, and other equipment. The company's core philosophy is to constantly push the boundaries of innovation so that outdoor enthusiasts can constantly push their own boundaries of exploration. However, its interest has also moved closer to the city. The brand's assortment has therefore expanded to include stylish clothing and functional urban backpacks, which are ideal for trips through the concrete jungle with a laptop and other daily essentials.
But this wild ride doesn't end there. Among our luggage selection, you will also find the famous The North Face Base Camp travel bags, which are ideal if you need to safely pack a lot of things for a very long trip. Conversely, the lightweight Flyweight Duffel bag is great if you suddenly need a bulky but packable piece of luggage, for example, to store gifts from your travels. Last but not least, we cannot forget the practical accessories, from which you can find the clever Base Camp Wallet and the practical Base Camp Travel Canister in our assortment.
