You've certainly heard of the brand Salomon before. Perhaps you associate it with ski equipment? When Salomon is mentioned, many of us first think of ski boots. However, these are just the tip of the iceberg of this globally recognized manufacturer's product range. In addition to sports apparel and footwear, it offers quality equipment such as Salomon sports backpacks, which have recently expanded our offer, and with their help, you'll fall in love with movement and sport.

The History of Salomon and its Broad Scope
The history of the Salomon brand dates back to 1947 and the town of Annecy in the French Alps. From its location, it's clear to everyone that snorkels and fins wouldn't be the focus here. When Georges Salomon graduated from university in 1947, ski lifts were gradually emerging in the surrounding mountain villages. Georges then disregarded his father's wish for him to become a teacher, instead desiring to plunge into the family business. It started with the production of bevelled ski edges, continued with the development of various types of bindings, until in 1979 Georges Salomon introduced the first ski boot with the option to fasten the heel into the binding. The iconic orange boot was first launched on the French market, but the following year it conquered the whole world.

The fact that Georges Salomon was an adventurer with a love for sport is also proven by his famous statement that he was most interested in what he would do tomorrow.
Everything for Sport
Soon, the first skis, snowboards, hiking boots, and Salomon backpacks joined the boots, and today the brand's portfolio caters to athletes of various disciplines.

Love for Sport
The brand's main message is to create sports equipment that helps us find our better selves, better connect with nature and people, and motivates us to better performance. Equipment that is high-quality, recyclable, and lasts a long time.
Love for Nature
Because we cannot use the planet indefinitely and we want our children to have at least the same sporting conditions as us, the Salomon brand decided to address this challenge and, through gradual steps, become more sustainable and eco-friendly. Salomon is committed to a path towards carbon neutrality, aiming to reduce all CO2 emissions by up to 50% by 2030. By 2050, Salomon strives for zero emissions.
Furthermore, by 2030, all Salomon products should be labelled with their eco-friendliness, allowing customers to make better and more conscious choices.
Circular Economy – A Path to Change
All new Salomon products are designed and developed in accordance with the circular economy – a system in which no waste is generated. All product components in this system can be fully recycled, composted, or used for further production.
Salomon already, in line with this system, uses residual materials for the production of new components, prototypes, and products.
