Appearance (doesn't) matter
Choosing a handbag is usually a matter of aesthetic sense and taste for a woman. That is why appearance is one of the first criteria we evaluate. With the Hedgren Radiance, I love its simple yet elegant design.
The delicate and light fabric might raise concerns about getting dirty quickly, but after three months of daily wear, there is practically no sign of it. And if you do get it dirty, the dirt is easily washed off with a damp cloth.
If I were to describe the exact color of the bag, I would tell you to see it for yourself. It has an amazing ability to adapt to different shades. On its own, it is a kind of grey-beige with a subtle pink-purple tone. :-) I know, I just listed almost the entire color spectrum, but it is truly very variable – it depends on the ambient light and the colors it reflects.
The handbag is complemented by shiny silver elements, which give it a certain touch of elegance. Moreover, it is made of water-resistant material, so you don't have to worry about unsightly stains or soaked contents during a light rain. The synthetic leather accessories are neatly finished and, of course, matched to the same shade.
Small but capable
Despite its relatively small dimensions (26 cm wide), it is incredibly spacious. It easily fits daily essentials like a wallet, planner, mobile phone, cosmetic necessities, a foldable shopping bag, tissues, keys, and there is still room for my husband's wallet and glasses. I even managed to stuff a large orange into it once. :-)
If you want to be a "lady," you can detach the long strap and have a subtle handbag. For everyday use, however, the crossbody strap is ideal. Its adjustable length is a given.
Just the right amount of pockets
The basic storage for the aforementioned load is, of course, the main pocket. Although it might seem otherwise from the stated external dimensions of the bag (29 x 22 cm), A4 size folders really do not fit inside. But it is spacious enough.
To keep stored items organized, the handbag also features internal pockets. After unzipping, you will discover one zippered pocket where you can comfortably fit even a larger smartphone, and on the opposite side, you will find two smaller pockets for small items. On the outside of the bag, there is a zippered pocket.
The only flaw in its beauty is the fact that the metal strap attachments slightly stain the parts of the bag they come into contact with. However, that is the only complaint I have thought of during our entire time together.
