The Mammut Connect app offers a wide range of uses for adventurers and nature lovers. You can find detailed information about current Mammut products, extend the warranty for free on those you have purchased, or record your sports activities and achievements. The range of services offered is expected to grow over time.
To fully utilize all the app's features, especially scanning specific products, you need a phone with NFC technology. This allows you to scan the chip integrated into selected Mammut products.
In the app itself, you can choose from three main tabs: Products, Activities, and Inspiration. The first category is used for scanning products. Here you can find all the necessary information, share your opinion and experience with the manufacturer, and also extend the product warranty up to five years. At the same time, by scanning, you have the certainty that you own an authentic Mammut product and not a counterfeit.

After creating an account, you can record your various sports activities in the second tab. After clicking through, you fill in the name, date, and time you engaged in the activity, and you can also add a longer description. Then you select the type of activity and add one or more photos.
In my opinion, this is where the biggest disadvantage of the app lies – it does not allow you to save an activity until you upload at least one photo and choose from a limited number of offered activity types. On the other hand, a bonus is the option to add the country you were in, the weather, the difficulty of the activity, and the feeling you take away from it.
You can then share your results with others and motivate each other to achieve even better performances.
News from the outdoor world
In the Inspiration tab, you can watch exciting videos, browse photo galleries from extreme expeditions, and discover new articles. On the home page, you will find the latest posts, or you can filter by the sports activity that interests you most after clicking on more articles.
You will also learn what your favorite athletes are planning and can take a look at the calendar of upcoming sporting events.
