In just a few days, another one of our mascots will set off on a grand expedition. One panda is scooting across South America and two more are preparing for a journey across the Dark Continent. You don't need to worry about them, though; they will be accompanied and protected by a seasoned expert, weathered by wind and sand. It will be none other than the Trabant traveler, or rather, the pioneer rider Marek Slobodník.

This member of the famous "Trabant Across Continents" expedition has temporarily swapped the yellow circus for a group of pioneers. Years ago, he set off to Kazakhstan on these bikes, and now he and a group of friends have decided to overcome the challenges of the African wilderness, deserts, and jungles. Ideally, they would like to travel the entire east coast from Egypt to South Africa. However, as they admit themselves after numerous experiences with these specific "motorbikes" – "We'll be happy if we can push them all the way to Kilimanjaro."
Our pandas are, of course, already prepared. They have everything they need packed in their backpacks and can't wait for the next adventure that surely awaits them on the expedition. They are setting off on their long journey on January 14, 2017, from Banská Bystrica, where they will join a group of 6 pioneers and 6 brave adventurers. Together, they will embark on the Africa on Pioneers expedition.

The pandas have promised to check in from time to time. We will keep you regularly informed about their struggles and funny stories right here on the blog and on our Facebook.
