Proven over the years
Granger's was founded in 1937 in the UK. Initially, it specialized in professional collaboration with the greatest adventurers who set out to explore the North and South Poles and other uncharted regions. However, the brand's philosophy is to constantly push the boundaries of innovation, develop new technologies for better resistance to external influences, and ensure better accessibility and eco-friendly production. In 1947, Granger's produced the world's first water-based waterproofing solution. It thus boldly stepped towards a responsible approach to manufacturing protective and cleaning products that are gentle on the environment.
In 1953, Granger's supported the first ascent of Mount Everest. However, all outdoor adventures are important to the company, whether they lead to the highest peaks or across the concrete jungle of the city. The product range has expanded from technical equipment to everyday clothing, and the company's goal has become to keep you dry, warm, and safe wherever your steps lead. In 1977, the then-manager Martyn Rose made fundamental changes in the company, and this transformation propelled the firm to the position of market leader, which it holds to this day.
Reliable even without harmful chemicals
For over 10 years, Granger's has been manufacturing its products without the use of PFCs (perfluorocarbons) and was the first to receive the Swiss bluesign® system certification for most of its products. They continue to work hard on further innovations. Their latest technology is APT (Acrylic Polymer Technology), which provides excellent water repellency while maintaining breathability. In addition to protecting the environment through harmless chemical compositions, the company also prides itself on using only sources of materials that meet strict ethical standards.
