If you are looking for a durable and spacious diaper bag, look no further. I have been using the Built Go-Go Diaper almost every day since my baby was born—that is five months now—and I am thrilled. I recommend this bag especially to moms who (like me) love order and having everything in its place.

A bag for all baby and mom essentials
I have my first child, now a five-month-old girl. Relatively recently, I went through reading all those lists—what to take to the hospital, what to get for the nursery, what a baby will need in the first month, what a baby will need in the first year of life, etc. If you have gone through this or are currently going through it, you will surely agree that there are just so many items. Even though I consider myself a fairly sober-thinking person and crossed out half of the "essentials," the list did not shrink much.
However, in no "guaranteed complete" list did I come across an item that I retrospectively consider absolutely essential—a properly large bag in which you will carry those million little things. The Built Go-Go Diaper bag is made for it. It fits everything you need when going out with a baby, and sometimes even groceries. I had it with me in the hospital and have been using it almost constantly ever since.
Bag organization and what I carry in it
The bag is equipped with four pockets inside (two are mesh for better ventilation) and a large main compartment. I can comfortably and, most importantly, clearly store everything I need for changing the baby in the pockets. So I have diapers, a changing mat (a neoprene changing mat is also included with the bag!), diaper rash cream, wet wipes, dry wipes, washing oil, and dry clothes for changing stored separately.
You can then put whatever you need in the main compartment—if you are going on a longer trip, it is great for extra baby gear, and if you are just going for a walk with the stroller, you can store your shopping in it on the way back.
On the outside, the bag has five more pockets. Two smaller pockets on the back of the bag, where I carry, for example, my daughter's vaccination card and hand sanitizer. It is handy because I do not take these things out of the bag at all and at the same time I have quick access to them whenever I need. Two side pockets are designed for baby bottles.
A huge advantage of neoprene is that it maintains temperature, so I have tea or milk ready for a quick snack whenever the baby is hungry or thirsty, for up to four hours. The front pocket is closable with a Velcro flap—I carry everything I need to have at hand and at the same time safe in it, which means my wallet and mobile phone. And so, I am clearly packed for a walk and at the same time satisfied that I have everything in its place.
How I can and cannot carry the Built Go-Go Diaper bag
A huge advantage of the bag is that it can be carried in various ways. Neoprene handles allow the bag to be comfortably thrown over one shoulder or carried in the hand, which you will appreciate especially if you carry your baby in a wrap or carrier. There is also a detachable shoulder strap—ideal for dads!
And last but not least, the bag is equipped with loops for attaching to a stroller. For example, we only got a ridiculously small bag with our stroller, which I have not used even once because nothing would really fit in it. I simply attach the Built bag to the handle and have everything at hand, under control, and most importantly, I do not have to drag anything unnecessarily.
Neoprene – a material for divers and babies
The chosen material is the alpha and omega of all bags, backpacks, and suitcases. And for a mom's bag, this applies twice over. Neoprene has properties that make my life easier every day. Firstly, it is waterproof from both sides, so your diapers will not get damp when it is pouring outside, and the contents of the bag will not get wet when you have wet diapers stored in it (of course, in a special neoprene pocket).
The manufacturers also thought about changing and the problems associated with it when they packed a special neoprene mat with the bag. It insulates perfectly, does not leak, and is pleasantly soft, so you do not have to worry about laying the baby on it and solving what is needed. Another undeniable advantage of neoprene is that it retains its colors, overall look, and elasticity—my Built bag still looks like new despite very frequent use.
Overall, I find it hard to find disadvantages with this bag. Perhaps some moms would welcome other color and pattern variants, but I just really like the polka dots. I already know that when the little one grows up, I will wear it even without the stroller.
